About TheAlphaInsider
Independent information service on US insider trading activity
What we do
TheAlphaInsider is an independent information service that collects, structures and presents public data on insider transactions in US-listed companies, as mandatorily disclosed to the SEC (Form 4 filings). We apply our own statistical models (skill coefficient R, accumulation patterns) and produce descriptive reports.
Data sources
All data comes from public sources: SEC EDGAR (Form 4 filings, financial statements), public market data and publicly available news. Data may contain errors or delays and is provided as-is.
Our models
We apply transparent statistical models (R-coefficient, clustering, track records) to identify patterns in insider activity. These are descriptive statistics — they describe what has happened in the data, they do not predict future performance.
Not investment advice
TheAlphaInsider does not provide investment services or financial advice within the meaning of Spanish Securities Market Law 6/2023 (MiFID II transposition). We are not registered as an investment services firm or financial adviser, and nothing on this site constitutes an offer, invitation or suggestion to buy, sell or hold any security.
No investment recommendations
We do not issue investment recommendations within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (MAR). Our reports, metrics and valuations are general, non-personalised information produced without considering any user's financial situation, objectives or risk profile.
Independence
TheAlphaInsider is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the SEC, any exchange, any listed company or any broker. We do not receive compensation from companies covered by our reports.
Risks
Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Insider activity is only one of many factors that affect the value of a security. Investing involves risk, including loss of capital. Users should make their own investment decisions or consult a registered adviser.
